To say that we had fun at this wedding is an understatement. I can safely say that by the end of the night I had made a few new friends, and there are a few stories that are going to stay within the four walls of the Polish Country Lodge.
Bethany & Trystan are two of the kindest people you will ever meet. Their love story spans over a decade: they had met and lost touch and reunited again much to the delight of their parents. We spent the morning at Trystan’s parents’ house out in the country, and had such an amazing time taking photos out there. I felt so relaxed and happy, the time flew by and we barely felt like we were working. Everywhere we turned there was somewhere interesting to shoot. I love everything about the ensembles that Bethany & Trystan chose, from her custom belt to his light grey suit, and their matching cowboy boots.
The reception was like a family reunion with lots of stories being traded back and forth. And one of my old colleagues from my biochemistry days was there as well! It was one of those weddings where we just felt like part of the group. It was a truly wonderful day, and one of my highlights from the summer (so far)! Thanks to my second shooter Sam for his hard work, fabulous photos, and always epic dance moves.
Trystan’s sisters made this fun cake!
Behind the scenes, mostly just goofing around…
