Jordan and Krista met at the young adult service, The Project, at Millwoods Pentecostal Assembly. Jordan had started attending and slowly meeting all of Krista’s friends – eventually he met enough of them that it led to meeting Krista. It didn’t take long for the two for them to head out on a is-this-a-date date. Turns out it was, but it was the day after Jordan found out that he got into a Medical School in the USA. They continued to go on dates and seven months later had to say goodbye as Jordan moved down to Texas to attend the University of North Texas for Med school. In November Jordan was set to come home during American Thanksgiving which happened to be Krista’s birthday as well. Little did Krista know that Jordan had arranged to come home a day early and propose. Krista though she was going to the opera with her sister when they detoured past the Legislature where Jordan was hiding behind one of the big pillars! He got down on one knee and their story continued! Krista is moving to Texas after the wedding and honeymoon where they will live until Jordan finishes his schooling.
These two lovebirds had a vintage-inspired wedding that centered around family, and their faith. They had a special prayer together before the wedding at the St. Albert Grain Elevator Park (without seeing each other!) holding hands across a door. It was such a special moment for them to share before they said their I Do-s! Thanks to Tessa for shooting this wedding with me!
