I’ve sat down to write text for this blog post a few times, and it’s hard to express in a short paragraph what Monica & John’s wedding means to me. Monica and I have lived next to each other for a number of years, and we’ve seen each other through ups and downs! I’ve gotten to know her family, she’s gotten to know my kids, and when she told me that she was dating John I was really excited for her. She and John first met in Junior High at Louis St. Laurent, and all these years later they fell in love and tied the knot! I got a front row seat to the planning process, and was really honoured that they chose me as their photographer. The day flew by! And before we knew it we were seated in the beautiful Hotel Macdonald with the most amazing centrepieces – cakes!! Monica make sure that every detail was taken care of, and their guests were treated to a fabulous party. I was stoked to see a few of my previous clients there as well! Special thanks to my kickass second shooter Jesse!
Congratulations Monica & John, and all my best wishes and love as you start this next chapter of your lives together! Promise you’ll come back to the old hood to visit!

A little bit of behind the scenes! Side note for the photographers out there – I finally jumped on the Hold Fast bandwagon and I love shooting dual body! I’m still breaking in the leather, but I’m really loving the system. Although at one of my recent weddings someone thought it was a costume…
