Sam & Sim’s wedding was quite an affair, with multiple events in Edmonton and an awesome party reception in Banff at the Banff Park Lodge! Sim’s family and friends traveled from Montreal, and there were guests from all over the world Sikh weddings can be crazy, chaotic, loud, and vibrant. At the heart of this one was Sam & Sim, who are an awesome match and complement each other well. Sam is feisty and Sim has a more quiet demeanour (but busted out some awesome moves on the dance floor with his guys!), and together they are a great duo. They made it through a week of festivities and we had an absolutely fantastic celebration when we got to the mountains. I want to thank them both for entrusting me with some of their scheduling, and giving me free reign on what to do for all of their photos, and bringing me across this beautiful province with them. Special shout out to Sam’s sisters who definitely added some spice to the crazy week! You were all fab! Big thanks to my second shooters (Sam in Edmonton and Tessa in Banff) for helping everything run smoothly!

I was FLOORED by the dance moves of this duo – friends of Sim’s from Fort McMurray. Jaw-dropping moves.
Sam’s little brother Rohan was a highlight of the wedding. I’m sure he didn’t really know what was going on most of the time but he had an amazing time. His big sisters love him SOOOO much!
Here’s a little behind the scenes action from the week! We had a great time with one of our favourite videographers Raj from A Love Story. See more behind the scenes, and a little photo series I loving call ‘Where’s Haley’ (there’s on for Michael too) on our Facebook page.
