I take joy out of many things in life, a big one being travel, and another big one being the opportunity to shoot somewhere other than my own back yard. Canmore is one of my favourite places in the world, somewhere that I can relax and recharge. The air smells different, and the hours can melt away. I have wonderful memories with some of my favourite people there. If the real estate market weren’t so crazy down there, I’m pretty sure I’d have another home away from home!
Our calendars aligned for me to shoot Sarah & Matt’s engagement photos in Canmore and I was waiting for it all summer. With dalmatian Kooper along for the trip, we went on a little adventure to find a secluded waterfall, and enjoyed some unseasonably warm weather (it’s really good all the snow had melted in time!). These two love Kooper a ridiculous amount, and he’s one of the best behaved dogs I’ve ever worked with.
Now, Sarah told me that she wants me to blog every single photo from their session because she loves them all, but I don’t want to make all my other couples jealous, so here’s a taste of our lovely afternoon together.
