Abby & Tarn | Anniversary Session

I’m so excited to share Abby & Tarn’s anniversary session! This is the first year in 15 years that I’m not photographing a multi-day Indian wedding (Sikh, Hindu, or Muslim).  My longest wedding was 10 hours…back in February before all this nonsense started.  15 years.  I have become so used to shooting 20+ weddings a year, with an average of 12 hours each…some multi-day weddings are 30 hours (the most I’ve ever shot in a 4 day period was 45 hours last year).  This year…where is all that creative energy to go?  It’s been pouring out of me in unexpected ways, and one example is this session.

I first met Abby and her sister’s wedding a couple of years ago, and we connected immediately. I followed along on instagram through her own wedding planning, and was honoured when she asked me to do anniversary photos this year!  She and Tarn met me at the U of A on a gorgeous summer evening, and we explored campus together.  I’m so happy for these two to have reached this milestone!
