I don’t think there were too many points of Deepti & Alex’s wedding day that one of them wasn’t laughing/smiling/giggling/joking. These two are super laid back (my ideal couple!) and just wanted to have a blast at their wedding.
Deepti went through wedding planning not only long distance (they live in Vancouver) but also in the middle of school and exams so I have to give her credit for everything running so smoothly! Both Deepti’s and Alex’s parents were so delightful. Alex’s family is from Bosnia, and it was wonderful to see these two families and cultures merge together.
Most of the ceremony was conducted with Alex & Deepti separated by a curtain. It was a bit of a challenge photographically (especially with so many people up on the mandap!) but it was really cool to watch their faces, and the anticipation, when they finally got a chance to see each other.
Thankfully Sam has long arms and could fit us all in for a selfie!
