It’s always incredibly flattering when another wedding professional hires you for work – and when I first met Jennifer through the Wedding Planning Institute of Canada, I knew instantly that we were going to work well together. I’ve already had the pleasure of shooting portraits for her, and this summer she tied the know with the love of her life Kevin! Jen describes them as an Italian/Portuguese princess and a Scottish football hooligan, and with a combination like that the wedding was full of tradition, family, and rowdy celebration! Kevin’s kilt was custom made in Scotland, Jen and her dad dance to a traditional Portuguese Pimba song, the wedding favours were imported from Italy, and the groom’s cousin flew over from Scotland to play the bagpipes! These two enjoyed every moment of the wedding, and after so much time and effort to plan such a large event, they still stopped to take time and enjoy each other and the vows and promises they made to each other.

I’ll be sad to lose my second shooter Derek next year – he’s heading to Australia for photo school! He’s been a wonderful addition to my team and will be missed. We had a blast!
