Everyone who knows me knows I love to travel, and having never photographed a Cuba wedding before I was excited for Shannon & Andy’s wedding! Of course…a wedding is about so much more than the location, and no matter how beautiful the beach may be it’s the love between two people that’s the most important thing. Shannon & Andy chose Cuba to try something different, and so their families could have a relaxing break. We got to check out Havana a few days after their wedding as well for some more photos…although I don’t think our tour guide really understood what we were doing. He didn’t speak much English, and none of us spoke much Spanish – he seemed confused as to why I wanted to take photos of Shannon and Andy in front of walls instead of with the statue of Ernest Hemmingway at the bar….
Andy will do anything to help another person out, and Shannon is a bright beautiful soul – the two of them make a wonderful partnership and it was such a pleasure spending the week with them and their families. Enjoy!
Resort: Melia Varadero
We didn’t take too many selfies on the beach…here are some behind the scenes of me and Melissa shooting!
