I met Tasha at the gym. I needed to transition to a new trainer, and I knew immediately that I wanted her. She is loud, direct, bubbly, energetic, and I knew she would push me. I never expected to make such a dear friend. I never ever assume that my friends will hire me for their weddings. Some friends want me to attend and enjoy, others want me to put my talents to good use for them. When Tasha told me about her backyard ceremony and Foundry Room reception, and that she and Jordan wanted me to photograph them, I was thrilled!
Tasha & Jordan’s wedding is one that I find to be great inspo for a number of reasons. They opted for a charcuterie cocktail reception rather than a traditional sit-down dinner. They had their ceremony in a friend’s backyard. These options are ‘simple’ and ‘inexpensive’ but also gave their wedding a real sense of intimacy. We were all there because we mean something special to Tasha and Jordan. For a young couple just starting their life together, it was an incredibly meaningful celebration. And it doesn’t hurt that these two are cute together….and Tasha is a total stunner! Wishing these two many many happy and successful years together!
Christy helped me kick off my spring season with these two! It was our first time at the Foundry Room.
